Directions:

  • Start with fresh and clean blown out hair
  • Create a side part and take part down to the back of the right ear
  • Pin the sectioned hair up and out of the way
  • Part hair down the opposite side to the back of the left ear
  • Moisturize hair with Cantu Coconut Curling Cream
  • Lock in moisture with Cantu Anti-frizz Argan Smoothing Oil
  • Divide remaining (back) section of the hair into four parts
  • Flat twist each back section loosely, totaling four flat twists
  • Secure ends with elastic band
  • TIP: If needed, reference my previous video tutorial “How to Flat Twist
  • Remove clip from right (front) sectioned off hair and part in half
  • Pull the small section of hair (closest to hair) up and away
  • Apply a small amount of Cantu Coconut Curling Cream to remaining sectioned hair
  • Add another loose flat twist to the top (front) section of hair and secure with elastic
  • TIP: At this point there should be two small sections undone by each ear
  • Two strand twist each small section
  • Do not secure with elastic band
  • Pull both twists back and over the four flat twists close to the nape of the neck
  • Wrap the two strand twist ends around each other
  • Butterfly the flat twists (puff to add volume)
  • Pin the first flat twist (right side) into the left flat twist, then pin the opposite twist tail
  • Repeat process for the remaining two flat twist tails, pinning into the fluffed twisted hair
  • Use a small amount of Cantu Edge Stay Gel to sleek edges down with brush

There you have it! An amazingly beautiful natural hair up-do!
