As a mom of two, I always find myself getting ready last. I make sure that everyone else is dressed, has their hair done, and ready to get out that door. By the time it is my turn to put on some clothes and do my hair, I have about 10-15 min. What if you just washed your hair and you didn’t get a chance to set it? Maybe you are rocking a week long twist out and wash day is creeping up on you? Perhaps you had a failed braid/twist/bantu knot out? Well don’t worry, thats what I am here for.

Here are step by step instructions on achieving three easy hairstyles that will get you out of the door QUICK

  1. Make a deep part on the side of your head
  2. Spray a little water to make sure hair is easily manipulated
  3. Add cream styler of your choice to lock in moisture
  4. On one side of the head pick up piece to begin your flat twist(or braid) and separate in to two sections
  5. Flat twist all the way to back of your head
  6. Flat twist the opposite side all the way to the back of your head
  7. Use bobby pins to pin ends of hair to opposite side of your head.

This is one of my FAVORITE go to styles. Its great to do right after you wash your hair and you have somewhere to be, its great when you wake up and need to look put together but only have a few minutes to spare.

  1. Part your hair from ear to ear.
  2. Take one side of the front part and divide into two to start a flat twist(or braid)
  3. Make a loose flat twist from one side of your head to the next
  4. Fluff up the flat twist to give it a little more volume
  5. Take out a ponytail holder of your choice(I like to use ribbon ties so less pulling on my hair)
  6. Place back of hair into a low ponytail

Out the door, you go, looking fabulous!

  3. Clip front out of the way and make a low bun on one side of your head
  4. Make a low bun on the opposite side of your head(again using a ponytail holder of your choice)
  5. Braid your hair into two braids using the two sections in the front
  6. Bobby pin the braids back buy the buns(If your hair is long enough you can wrap it around the bun
  7. (optional) add hair jewelry to give it an extra pop

This look is guaranteed to have people thinking you spent a lot of time on your hair.
