This holiday season looks different for all of us. With a lot less time together with extended family and friends, gifts will be our biggest connection to people this year. While there are a ton of gifts you can buy, I want to share 3 simple gifts you can make at home with your PC. I will be sharing how we made our family holiday card, the perfect home video montage for Nana and Grandad, and an ideal coupon book of chores any parent would want to receive from their child. These were all made super simple using our AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, which lets me create faster and multi-task like a pro.

With a little preparation, the right device, and a little creativity, you will be wowing your loved ones too!!!

Step One:

Download the right software. Luckily, I have done all the footwork for you all. The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 made it super easy to have all apps, files, and the internet open at the same time. Did I mention the flexibility of this device and the hours of battery life we were able to create anywhere in our home? Okay back to what you’ll need for these projects.

Holiday Cards:

Search for inspirational Holiday cards via the Internet. Stock images can be saved in the new file too.
Create a New File Folder for possible images of you and your family for the card. You will want a few options.
Canva.com – this is an amazing free app where you do not have to be a graphic designer to make mind-blowing graphics, and in this case, Holiday Cards.

Video Montage:

Create a New File Folder that will house all of your random home videos.
Download OpenShot.com. This is your video editing software, oh did I mention, it is free!?!!
Epidemicsounds.com – they have a 30-day free trial. Get it and download what you need. I tend to go for royalty-free music, especially if I am going to share it on social media. Plus, they have amazing sounds to add to specific parts of your video to bring it all together!

Chore Coupon Book:

Hand-drawn images from your little one. This is where having the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 360-degree laptop comes in handy. Garrison was able to digitally draw his artwork for the book.
Create a list of chores your little one can do as a gift for mom or dad.
