So I must admit – I have always admired highlighting and contouring. I felt like it brought out a different side of having a “beat face.” It is the difference between someone saying “hey girl hey” and “two snaps for the slayage!” That’s how serious I am about taking your makeup to the next level. Although I have not fully mastered the art of contouring, highlighting is my baby! It gives your face dimension, lifts your cheeks on top of your blush, and adds glow beyond no other! I am all for the glow up! Here are a few of my favorite highlighters under $15. I know you’ll love these highlighters after you try them. Plus, they will have you looking fabulous!

Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette – $7.99

This palette is the best 3-in-1 trio I have come across for its price. In it contains shades to contour, sculpt, and highlight. The highlighter in this palette is amazing! Black Radiance has three different shades that you can choose from based on your complexion. I use the Medium To Dark palette because it blends very well with my tone. I would recommend this highlight for anyone that wants an everyday look.

L.A. Girl Strobing Powder – $7.99

In my opinion, L.A. Girl can do no wrong. From their color corrector to their concealer, I love it all! When I found out they had a highlighter, I ran to my nearest beauty supply store to purchase it. They have an array of shades to choose from. Because I wanted I a highlighter that would brighten up my face, I opted on 60 Watts. It has enough pigmentation and shimmer in this color to give me the “wow” factor I desire every single time I wear it.

NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator – $7.49

I’ve heard so many great things about NYX’s illuminator so I thought I’d give this highlighter a try. If you have oily skin, due to the consistency, this may not be the best pick for you. This highlighter comes in four different colors. I have the shade Sun Goddess. This is my go to pick for work because it is subtle appearance. The illuminating aspect of this highlighter yields a sheer application. Another thing I like about this product is that you can wear it on your face and body!

Dirty Little Secrets – $14.99

I was given this highlighter at BeautyCon last year, in the shade Sunkist, from the owner of the company.  Although it is compact in size, don’t sleep on this highlighter! A little goes a long way with application of this gem. I use this one if I want a soft glam. This highlighter will definitely have you glowing.

As you can see I am currently experimenting with the shade of gold. I love them against my complexion. Make sure when choosing your highlight, it compliments your skin tone. From creams to powders, there are so many various hues you can choose from – not only gold. Definitely find one you love so you too have can that awesome glow!

Do you love highlighters as much as I do? What are some of your favorites that you’ve added in your beauty regimen?
