Springtime is finally upon us and what better way to enjoy the weather than with something refreshing to drink! Some of us may still be in our regimen to kick a few more pounds off before the summer hits or are simply looking for a reasonable alternative with less sugar consumption. No matter which side of the coin you fall, this is the smoothie for you. The ingredients in this smoothie believe it or not have essential health benefits that you and your body I am sure will thank me later. It is easy to blend and more importantly it does not have an overbearing taste in conjunction with other ingredients.

One thing that is key for me when I make this is the consistency, and I have found that with using kale, the results are really smooth and easy to digest upon blending.

All of the fruits in this smoothie are high in antioxidants. According to WebMD, antioxidants “protects the body from damage and play a role in management or prevention of some medical conditions.”

This is good because, consuming antioxidants continues to keep your body healthy while preventing further potential damage.

How many of us actually consume daily multivitamins?

For those that do not, these fruits also contain various vitamins that aids in strength for your body and energy. This should definitely entice you to want to try it now, right!

Because this smoothie has health benefits, consider these ways below as way means of consumption:

1.To aid in weight loss

2.To consume as a snack

3. As a meal supplement

4. To drink after a workout

kale-banana-strawberry-mango-smoothie-recipe-endonme-the-maria-antoinetteI know that sometimes when people read the word smoothie, it can seem overwhelming, but it is not. When I first started with the idea of this venture, I purchased a Nutri-Bullet, and I am using the same blender to date and I love it.  Others may think that prep time is a lot, but there are many ways to decrease that. For one, preparing your smoothies ahead of time and packaging them for the week is one.

This not only saves you a tremendous amount of time, but this ensures that all you have to do is place is the blender when you are ready.

Also, you can purchase various fruits in your frozen section of your supermarket. That way it is already sliced and prepared for you, and this is also an amazing alternative for people that likes their smoothie at a cooler temperature and thicker consistency. As you can see, there is no one specific way of when to drink this, what counts is that you start!
