What goes around comes back around.  This Wilson leathers 1970’s vintage coat puts a new spin on retro fab! This coat can be adorned with high slouchy platform boots or even dressed down and made cute by some stylish sneakers! T his coat can be easily thrifted as I was so lucky to find a burgundy one.

Solange’s campaign featured women of color with all different shades of nude outfits including this chic nude coat you see here.  And what about that pop of color with the yellow pumas…love it!  A similar coat can be found at modlily.com.

Plaid is the new black!  If you haven’t worn plaid since grade school, now is the time to invest in it again. What would normally be considered a dressy coat is made super casual by pairing it with leggings and sneakers.  I can also see this with a pair of boyfriend jeans and booties as

Wool pea coats or floor length coats can be found anywhere (3 were thrifted this week from various places for a measly$8-12). They make for a great style and eye catcher as this outerwear can be worn to the office or with jeans.  This is the epitome of a classic overcoat.  The simple cut, over-sized lapels& pockets make this a timeless addition to your winter wardrobe!   Adding a thrifted or antique pin to the lapel will add just a bit of flair to switch up the look as well.
Which style would you rock?  You can’t go wrong with any of the looks and the best part is that they’ll never go out of style.  Invest in a good one now and you will be able to rock it for years to come.
