The Hubster came up with a GREAT idea yesterday!!!! He shot me an email stating we should do something for Halloween, and he shared a link and some events that are going on in the Knoxville area, sounds fun right?!?! Well here is the challenging part…brace yourself…
Now, I have to watch what I share with the Hubs because most likely it will bite me in the butt! About a week ago I mentioned that my girlfriend LaQuisha Hall of CornerCurlGirl blog started a $100.00 a month thrift only challenge for buying all your clothes, accessories and even shoes at local thrift store. Now, I don’t spend $100.00 a month on clothes but check out how he turned this into a challenge for me…
The Hubs suggested that I use $100.00 and the thrift only concept to constructe our costumes!!! Brilliant right?!?! Well it would be so easy if I, yes me, would of pick simple costumes, but of course I didn’t!!! Tim Burton’s Alice and Wonderland is my goal! I am totally enthralled by the hair and make-up and of course the costumes!!! So wish me luck!!!! Oh did I mention I only have 10 DAYS to pull this off!!!! Let the challenge begin…I’m off to the thrift stores!!!
